Some users at reddit are reporting that ghey have received the Android Nougat update on their Verizon based Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid. But there is no official information from both the companies i.e. Motorola or Verizon.
The Android Nougat update for Moto Z Droid is labeled as NCL26.86-11 . The update size is unknown to us. It comes with features like Split screen multitasking, App quick switching, Daydream and much more. The update also comes with November 1 security patches for Android. The Motorola Moto Z Force Droid has got configuration version as I15.MOT.XT1650.0 . Not a users are getting the update but that just because the update comes in phases. So it will be available to everyone in upcoming days.
