Google is expected to announce the next version of their Android Wear OS. The latest Android Wear OS 2.0 is expected to be announced sometimes in February.
Now we have some details about a new upcoming smartwatch from Alcatel or TCL. It is not clear whether the smartwatch will have branding of Alcatel or TCL as both are same unit. The upcoming smartwatch from Alcatel-TCL is termed as ‘ Connected Watch’ which could mean that it will bring some connected home or connected car etc. like features. We do not have much information currently available about the upcoming smartwatch. It will come with 4G LTE connectivity on board. There will be a Qualcomm chipset which will be most probably from the line of one of latest Chipset in Wearables from Qualcomm. The Android Wear smartwatch from Alcatel-TCL is heading to T-Mobile in the US.
