Google started the Android Nougat Preview program earlier this year. We have seen various leaks claiming that the upcoming version of Android i.e. the Android Nougat update will be launched in the month of August. You can read our full Android Nougat coverage by clicking here.
Now we have a specific date for the Android N launch. The launch date is set for 22nd August which is very near. The leak comes from Canadian carrier Telus. The leak is available from Telus on their software update page. At their software update page, they have various devices getting different updates but there are two devices that set the case apart.
At the bottom of the list, we have the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5X. Both the devices are listed to get the Android Nougat update on 22nd August. So this means that the Android Nougat update will be rolled out on the Same day by Google.
