Android Nougat 7.1.2 brings gesture support to Nexus 5X

Yesterday Google pushed the Android Nougat 7.1.2 beta to few eligible devices. It is an incremental update over the Android Nougat 7.1 which had already received the Android Nougat 7.1.1 update.

Android 7.1.2 Changelog:

The update is touted as “incremental maintenance release”. It may pack lots of fixes and improvements along with some new stuff.

Android 7.1.2 is an incremental maintenance release focused on refinements, so it includes a number of bug fixes and optimizations, along with a small number of enhancements for carriers and users.

Now a reddit user named spannerphantom has came up with a screenshot which tells us about the new features added in the Android Nougat 7.1.2 . The screenshot shared by the reddit user has fingerprint settings page. It has heading as ‘Moves’ meaning the moves of your finger on the fingerprint scanner. There are 4 options given below in the screenshot which are listed below,

1.Swipe for Notifications :-  To check your notifications, swipe down on your Fingerprint sensor on the back of your phone

2. Jump to camera :- To quickly open Camera, press power button twice. Works from any screen.

3. Flip Camera :- To switch in or out of selfie mode in Google camera, double twist when you are in the app.

4. Lift to check phone :- To quickly check your notifications, pick up the phone.
