Android Nougat based Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 receives Wi-Fi certification

Back in December last year, we reported on the benchmarking of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, which revealed that the company is working on releasing the Android Nougat Update for the device, behind the scenes.

Now, the device has reportedly received the Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. The listing indeed reveals the software version as Android 7.0 for the device with model no SM-T817.

With this information, we can only hope Samsung could release the update in the coming months or so. Till then, stay tuned for more news updates!
