We had already informed our readers that the original Samsung Galaxy A5 was supposed to get Android Nougat update by the end of January 2017. It was confirmed by the Australian network provider Optus.
Now we have some more information in that direction. Australian carrier Optus has now indicated that the update will soon be delivered to the first gen Samsung Galaxy A5. The company has listed Android software update for different devices as of 31st January. So as per that list, the Samsung Galaxy A5 is in the list. The current status of Android Nougat update for original Samsung Galaxy A5 is ‘ Testing Android 7.0, completion expected February ‘ . So it simply indicates that the update will br rolled out in February 2017.
