Apple pushes first beta of MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 beta 1 with new features

Yesterday Apple was on an update roll out spree with many new updates. The company rolled out update to it’s iOS, TV OS and MacOS as well. Users of eligible Mac systems got the MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 with some new changes.

Now after the official roll out of public release, it’s time for the beta builds to start once again. The company is now rolling out first beta build of MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 . With the first beta of MacOS Sierra 10.12.4, the company brings night shift feature which was available on iOS devices since a long time. The night shift feature works very well on the retina display of Mac and other connected displays. Other changes are listed in the detailed changelog given below,

  • Night Shift now available on the Mac.
  • Dictation support for Shanghainese.
  • Ask Siri about cricket scores, schedules and player rosters. Siri knows about statistics and data from the Indian Premier League and International Cricket Council.
  • Updated PDFKit APIs for better displaying of PDFs in apps that use the framework.
