While our attention have been majorly focused on leaks of upcoming Huawei P9 variants, Huawei has been also building other devices which are still in pipeline. Today according to the venturebeat, Huawei is making a sequel to entry-level Y5. It is named Y5 II which will bring out many new upgrades & improvements over its predecessor.
Y5 II will come with MediaTek 1.3GHz quad core MT6735P. Previous Edition was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 with four cores running at a maximum of 1.1GHz, which is much less powerful than the new Edition.
Y5 II weighs in at just 135 grams, down from the first Y5’s 142 grams.
