Google has made announcement that they will be launching carrier billing service soon in India. The feature be will initially available to customers of Idea Cellular only.
According to the Google’s spokesperson:
“We are in the process of adding direct carrier billing to Google Play in India on Idea Cellular so that people can more easily pay for their favorite content,”. “We will have more news to share soon.”
With this new feature, you can now able to pay carrier bill through Postpaid or Prepaid account.Google also have plans to bring carrier billing to other operators as well, but for now, the new payment option will be available only to subscribers of the Idea.
