There have been many rumors and leaks around Future iPhone 7. Today according to some reports, iPhone 7 Processor will be made by TSMC. So, what it means is only one manufacture will build Processor for Apple iPhone 7. In case of previous versions of iPhones, Samsung and TSMC shared manufacturing of Processors for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
TSMC had made Apple A9 chip and A8 chip as well. According to the report 10 nm technology will be used to make a processor for Apple iPhone 7. According to a previous report, iPhone 6 Processor build by TSMC was cooler than the Samsung Processor. Also it had more battery life and optimizations than Samsung Processor.
According to the statement of Apple:
“even taking into account variable component differences” battery life between iPhone 6s models could vary within 2-3 percent of each other.
So now it seems only TSMC will be manufacturing Apple iPhone 7 Processor.
