The buyer response to iPhone SE is said to be lukewarm at the best. The demand for iPhone SE seems to be the weakest for any iPhone ever in India on day one. As per Apple’s Trade Partners, hardly 2000 units of Apple iPhone SE were made available in cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Due to poor demand and pre-bookings, distributors had to come up with cashback offers on credit card purchases from day one.
Apple launched its new 4-incher iPhone SE with lots of hype and hoopla generated with the help of the friendly Tech Media and some great management by its marketing department like ever. Apple launched iPhone SE in India on April 8. The phone’s pricing enraged many Indian buyers who took to Twitter to express themselves.
Some retailers are already offering discount on official price of iPhone SE. You can now get one on eBay for Rs 36,990 compared to official launch price of Rs 39000.
