Jio Infocomm that took market into storm by introducing their Jio Preview offer and Jio Happy New year offer. In both the offers cited above, the company offered unlimited 4G data , unlimited calling pan India and all the other Jio services for free.
We have already seen many reports and rumors that Jio is bringing a feature phone with 4G VoLTE connectivity. We had already brought the very first look of 4G VoLTE based feature phone.
Now there is some information about another move from Jio in India. The company has joined hands with Google for another 4G VoLTE based phone. It is also said that Google branding will help them sell out the phones at cheaper price and in large market. All the Jio apps will be deeply integrated into the Android system of this device. The smartphone will run exclusively on Jio network. Other than this, currently there isn’t any information available about the actual specifications and features of Jio – Google based phones.
The phone is expected to be available by the end of this year. It will come with stock Android and Jio premium service pre installed.
