Huawei’s sub brand Honor introduced the Honor 8 back in 2016 and it was indeed a very successful smartphone for the company. With introduction of Honor 8, there started a trend of dual camera focused smartphones.
The company is now readying to introduce a successor to the Honor 8, and it will be called the Honor 9. It was leaked recently in official poster which confirmed 12th June launch date for the Honor 9. Recently we reported about the leaked official press invite for Honor 9 launch on 12th June. We have already reported the leaked renders of Honor 9. It was leaked in 5 different colour variants. . It was already spotted visiting through the Chinese certification agency’s website TENAA. The TENAA listing had all the major details listed there.
Now we have another leaked information that takes us one step closer towards the official unveiling of Honor 9. There is a new promotional image of Honor 9 leaked online. The leaked image gives us confirmation about some of the specifications of Honor 9. The leaked image shows that the Honor 9 will come with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will be powered by an Octa-Core Hisilicon Kirin 960 SoC from Huawei. There will be a 12MP + 20MP dual camera setup on the back of Honor 9. There will be a 3D glass body on the back, similarly like the Xiaomi Mi 5.

The Honor 9 is scheduled to be released in June (12th June actually). It will be priced at CNY 2299 for 4GB RAM variant and the 6GB RAM variant will come for CNY 2599.
