Nexus 6P gets January security patches on Sprint

Nexus 6P is the smartphone that was introduced last year along with the Nexus 5X. The Nexus 6P was Huawei made while the Nexus 5X was LG made. Both the devices debuted with Android Marshmallow.

Now Sprint Network in USA has pushed a new update to the Huawei Nexus 6P. The latest update is nothing major but just a security patch. It brings security patches for the month of January 2017. So with this update, the Nexus 6P becomes a device with latest security patches on board.

The latest update brings build number as N4F261. It has a build date of January 5, 2017. The update also brings patches to Android Nougat 7.1.1 . The changelog includes security patches, performance improvements and some bug fixes as well.
