Nougat update rolls out to Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in Canada

If you are Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge user living in Canada, then there is a good news for you.

Android Nougat 7.0 update is rolling out on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge units, and is currently available on these service providers:  Virgin, Telus, and Bell. If you are on the Rogers, sit tight as the update is arriving as early as next month.

The update is arriving as firmware version G920W8VLU5DQD1 for Galaxy S6 and G925W8VLU5DQD1 for the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Since, this is an OTA update, you might have to wait a little as it rolls out to all customers, gradually.

To manually check for updates, head to Settings >> About >> Check for updates.
