OnePlus X getting OxygenOS 2.2.2 updates. Changelog below

OnePlus launched their first mid range device name as the OnePlus X. The OnePlus X was launched with oxygen OS 2.0 based on Android Lollipop.

Now the OnePlus X is getting a new update which brings it to the Oxygen OS 2.2.2 but still based on Lollipop. Official changelog is given below,

  • Upgraded camera to version 1.4 UI
  • Improved camera frame rate performance
  • Added trusted face unlock security option
  • Updated Swiftkey to version 6.3.3
  • Updated carrier name mapping
  • Added June security patches
  • Fixed default SIM card selection issue
  • Fixed network operator selection issue
  • Fixed screen rotation issue
  • General improvements and bug fixes

As this is an incremental updates, it will come in stages. So you need not to  worry if your device hasn’t got it your yet. Your device will soon get the update.

The company has also confirmed that they are working on to bring the Marshmallow update ASAP.
