After teasing many times, the company has finally made the Oppo R9 & R9 Plus official on their website. The first teaser from the company for Oppo R9 was having a ‘9’ symbol in Gold color. It was also reported that the Oppo R9 & R9 Plus will be camera centric smartphones. In a later leak we had leaked slides which contain the specs of Oppo R9 & R9 Plus.
Now the company has made both the devices official on their website. The Oppo R9 is having a 5.5″ Full HD AMOLED display. In terms of internals, it is having 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via Micro SD card. The Oppo R9 is having an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor.In the camera department, the Oppo R9 is having 13MP rear camera with 4K recording. On the front side, the Oppo R9 is having a surprising 16MP camera.

The bigger brother is called as Oppo R9 Plus. It is having nearly similar specs but just change in display size of the device. On the top it is having 6-inch Full HD display. Other difference include a slight increase in the rear camera which is 16MP in the Plus variant compared to 13MP in the normal Oppo R9. Processor is also changed in the bigger variant. The Oppo R9 Plus is having Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor .

The Oppo R9 & R9 plus comes in Rose Gold and Golden color variants. Official pricing include Oppo R9 to be fro CNY 2299 while the bigger Oppo R9 Plus to come for CNY 3299. The Oppo R9 is now available for pre-order in China through official website with delivery starting 24th March. Th Oppo R9 Plus will be available starting 12th April in China.
