As expected, Samsung Electronics India has now officially launched the next gen Samsung Galaxy A series in India. The first Samsung Galaxy A device being launched in 2017 is the Samsung Galaxy A5(2017).
In terms of specifications and features, the Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) comes with a 5.2-inch full HD(1920x1080p) display with Super AMOLED panel. It comes with 3GB of RAM in it which is the LPDDR 3 one. It has 32GB of internal storage with micro SD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) has been equipped with an Octa-Core Exynos 7880 processor @1.87GHz. There is 16MP camera sensor on the back side of the Samsung Galaxy A5(2017). On the front also, it comes with 16MP shooter. There is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. It has a water resistant body with Samsung Galaxy S7 like design which brings 3D curved glass at the back.

The Samsung Galaxy A5(2017) has been announced in Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud. It will be available in India starting 15th March for ₹28990.
