The latest update coming to Samsung Galaxy S5 brings latest Android security patches to the Samsung Galaxy S5. The firmware version for unlocked units of Samsung Galaxy S5 is XXS1CQA9. Now if we talk about the carrier locked models, it will bring the firmware version as either XXS1CQAV or XXS1CQA1 . The security updates Samsung Galaxy S5 is getting is upto January 1st 2017.  This update has a total size of 53MB .
