Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge get January security patches on T-Mobile

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were the flagship smartphones from Samsung for 2015. These devices were launched with Android Lollipop out of the box.

Now the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are getting new updates on network carrier T-Mobile. The latest update brings firmware version G920TUVS5EQA2 to the Samsung Galaxy S6. And on the other hand G925TUVS5EQA2 is the firmware version for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It has a size on 30MB approximately in total. The software update dialogue says, “ T-Mobile has sent you a new software update for your device. Update will take approximately 10 minutes. You will not be able to use the device during this time, including the ability to call or text 9-1-1 . To begin install, select INSTALL NOW
