Samsung to sell refurbished Galaxy Note 7 with smaller 3200mAh battery in emerging markets

We all are evident of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery fiasco. One or another Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was catching fire or blast in different regions. Samsung later announced that they are taking the devices back and will replace with new ones. But that too wasn’t successful and finally Samsung had to close or kill the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.

Now a new report claims that Samsung has huge stock of returned Galaxy Note 7 devices with them and the company wants to sell refurbished units of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with smaller battery. The company will be fitting new 3200mAh batteries in them. There could be slight change in design as well because of thr battery size change. Except battery, every else component of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will remain unchanged.

Samsung is targeting emerging markets like India and Vietnam for this. Samsung had sold some 3.06 million of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units worldwide. The company has successfully recovered 98% of this.
