In a twitter reply it was also confirmed by Mr. Mo Versi that owners of HTC One M8 on Sprint will also get Marshmallow next week which is expected to happen around 25th January of this year.

Today we just published news regarding HTC One M9 on several providers that are getting Marshmallow update starting today. THis news was confirmed by HTC’s Vice president Mr. Mo Versi via his official Twitter account. Now he made one more announcement regarding HTC One M8 on T-Mobile. He said that company is working very hard to provide update as soon as possible. The target date from company is 25th January.

If we talk about some hardware of HTC One M8, it was launched in 2014 with Android Kitkat based on HTC Sense 6.0 UI. But last year it was updated to Android Lollipop based on Sense UI7.0 . It was a great device with 5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. In terms of other hardware, it is equipped with 2GB of RAm along with 16/32 GB internal storage which can be expanded via a micro SD card. It was equipped with a 2.3/2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core processor. This was the first HTC device to sport a dual camera setup on the back with Dual 4MP camera (Ultra Pixel). On the front, it was having a 5MP camera for selfies.
