Xiaomi has already introduced the Xiaomi Redmi 4 devices back in November. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 was launched along with the Xiaomi Redmi 4A.
Now a new Xiaomi Redmi smartphone has been spotted visiting the Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website. As per TENAA listing, a new Xiaomi smartphone with model number MAE136 has been spotted. The Xiaomi device with model number MEA136 is said to be the Xiaomi Redmi 5. As for as specifications is concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be a successor to the already available Redmi 4. It has got a Gold coloured meta unibody design. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back. It also has camera module located like the Xiaomi Redmi 3/Redmi 3S. On the right, it has got volume and power controls. Left side of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has sim tray.
It has got 5-inch display which will bring full HD resolution (1920x1080p). There is 4000mAh battery which also doesn’t seem to an upgrade. Dimensions of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 5 include 139.24×69.94×8.65mm.
