Yu Yuphoria by Yu Televentures (Subsidiary of Micromax) is the second smartphone after Yu Yureka that has been launched today and will be sold for a price of Rs 6999 in India. It will be sold exclusively by Amazon India via “flash sale” route and the first sale will commence on 28th May (2 PM). In case you want to buy one, you need to be ready, when the sale begins as it may be prove to be a hot device like its sibling Yu Yureka. Yu Yuphoria specifications & key features:
- It has a 5″ IPS display with 720p resolution (294ppi) protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
- 5MP, f/2.0 selfie camera
- 8MP, f/2.2 rear camera. The camera on the back is placed in the center and features a “Saturn rings” design that will be present in future Yu phones.
- The Yu Yuphoria is powered by a Snapdragon 410 (four 64-bit CPU cores and Adreno 306) with 2GB of RAM.
- It runs Cyanogen OS 12, based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
- There’s 16GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot.
- Dual-SIM and 4G LTE.
- The battery capacity is 2,230mAh and there’s support for Quick Charge 1.0.
- Features a Wolfson audio chip, which promises great audio quality.
Purchasing your Yuphoria smartphone:
Step 1) Go to Amazon registration page and create an account for logging in to purchase.
Step 2) Now, next you need to subscribe to Yuphoria newsletter and this is the only way to become eligible for Yureka purchase. If in case, you are not able to purchase Yuphoria on 28th May (2 PM), you will be eligible for next buying opportunity. Note that only one device is permitted per customer.
Step 3) On 28th May or whenever next buy opportunity comes, be ready 15-20 minutes in advance, before the sale commences at 2 PM. Click on the link below to go to Yuphoria product page and login to Amazon India with the account you may have created in the Step 1. Now add Yuphoria to your Kart, as soon as the sales begin and checkout immediately, if you want to ensure the purchase. You have 15 minutes to finish your purchase though.
There will be a timer on the page that will reach to zero, when the sale starts. Please wait to see the correct price of Rs 6999 before adding it to the cart, as you may see a different price, if you land on the page too early or too late.
