Earlier this month, ASUS started rolling out the Android Nougat update to Asus Zenfone 3 in Philipines.
But Currently the news comes from Asus itself that the Update is on hold. The company hasn’t announced any specific reason of this. It seems like the company has encouraged some bugs in the update process which led them to pause the update seeding. The company hasn’t announced when the update will again be live for users. There was a question asked from a user at the official Asus Facebook page saying, ” What happened to the Nougat update. Can’t even find the post anymore.”
Asus responded to this saying,” The update is currently on hold. However you can enable auto update via Settings>About>System Update>Auto Download . The update will pop-up once it’s available. Kindly wait. Thank you”
So the above conversation nowhere shows anything related to specific reason of pause or specific date of resuming.
