Google releases last update to Android 7.1 Developer Preview

Google has released a new update to the Android Nougat 7.1 developer preview. The latest update for Android Nougat is the last update for Android Nougat 7.1 developer preview builds.

This is the last update before the final build of Android Nougat 7.1.1. The Android Nougat 7.1 developer preview ia available on Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, and Pixel C. Thr blogpost says, “ If you have a supported device that’s enrolled in the Android Beta Program, you’ll receive an update to Developer Preview 2 over the coming week. If you haven’t enrolled your device yet, just visit the site to enroll your device and get the update.

What’s new:

The Android Nougat 7.1 Developer preview 2 is just a release candidate for the Android Nougat 7.1.1 . It brings UI which is close to final version of the system. There are some most annoying bug fixes and performance improvements also. The OS is now optimized more across the system and Google Apps. It also includes developer features and APIs introduced in Developer preview 1.

The final build of the Android 7.1.1 is expected to be out in just a few weeks Starting in Decemeber. It will be rolled out to all the supported devices and recently introduced Pixel / Pixel XL.
