Previously Motorola India rolled out Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 update to their Moto X Play device which is a very good mid ranger.
Now the company has started pushing out Marshmallow 6.0.1 update to the users of Moto G 3rd Gen in India. It is having nearly same changelog as the Moto X Play which includes Camera app sound, Android security patches updates, Power button to launch the camera & some stability improvements as well.
Here’s the official changelog,
- Android security updates until March 1st , 2016.
- Unicode 8.0 Emoji support.
- Camera shutter tone switch. With this you can turn/Off the camera tone any time.
- Stability improvements.
- Double pressing the power button to launch camera app.
The app weighs around 371.4MB and takes the version number to v24.61.55 .
