Xiaomi to double it’s offline sales. Joins hands with more partners

Xiaomi India recently reported that they had only 10% of their total sales through the offline channels. The major 90% of the total sales happened through online channels only.

Now the company is planning to expand its offline presence in the country. Xiaomi has partnered with few more offline sellers in India. Xiaomi India Head Manu Jain said, “For us, online is the dominant channel and we are trying to build a base for offline in India. We had a partnership with Redington last year (for distribution) and four weeks back, tied up with Innocomm and Just Buy Live”  The company has now made partnership with Innocomm and Just Buy Live in India. With this new partnership, the company would get to sell their smartphones through 5000 ahops in India which can be doubled within few months.

The company recently launched the Xiaomi Redmi 3S and 3S Prime smartphone in India for a price of Rs. 6999 and Rs. 8999 respectively.
