Samsung has already released the Android Nougat update to Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge devices in many countries. Many carrier locked units have also received the Android Nougat update.
The Android Nougat update is now coming to Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Active. All the above mentioned devices are getting Android Nougat on US based network carrier AT&T. The Samsung galaxy S6 with model number G920A is getting the Android Nougat update on AT&T. The Galaxy S6 Edge has model number G925A with this update and for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is G890A. The software build number for Samsung Galaxy S6 , Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Active are NRD90M.G920AUCU6EQCF, NRD90M.G925AUCU6EQCF and NRD90M.G890AUCU6DQD1. All these devices are getting the April security patches also. The Update size is nearly 1.3GB for all these phones on AT&T.
