Google Pixel/Pixel XL to get January security patches on 3rd Jan, says Verizon

Google launched the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones with Android Nougat 7.1 . Both of these devices were later updated to Android Nougat 7.1.1 with latest security patches. These devices also got the December security patches as well.

Now there is more information about another security patches from Google to its Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. The company is expected to roll out the January security patches to these devices. According to US carrier Verizon, these two devices will get January security patches in the coming next week. It is also worth mentioning that the build number for this update will be NMF26U. The Verizon listing also confirms the actual date of availability of update. The update will be available on 3rd January.
